What you should have done was manually delete all your tModLoader files, then uninstalled and reinstalled Terraria through Steam. What you should probably do now is delete everything in your Terraria folder (if you cannot delete it then move it elsewhere) then reinstall Terraria through Steam.

WebProton doesn't work currently, but playing natively works almost perfectly once you get it working. At first it wouldn't launch at all, I had to first get it from github, run the start-tModLoader.sh script, wait for it to install, close it and overwrite the tModLoader from the steam games folder with the new one.

Vanilla terraria servers work perfectly find on my Pi and it's a shame tModLoader doesn't. I asked for support in their Discord, they say it won't work...
