Good day folks, I've been trying to do a simple sketch mirror across an axis but I can't figure out how to do it. I've used Solid Works before and it's a simple matter of selecting the sketch elements, selecting a center line, and pressing 'mirror'. FreeCAD doesn't seem so simple, unless I'm missing something.
WebJun 10, 2024 · I still don't quite see the point of the mirror sketch function if the mirrored sketch isn't constrained though, but oh well, my problem is solved. The basic idea is that mirroring in the sketch is not a great workflow. The reason it doesn't mirror constraints is, essentially it can't guess how to apply a mirrored constraint, so it doesn't.
