WebJul 7, 2008 · To fix it in a way that it stays fixed, replace the fuel line and the filter in the tank, blow out the fuel line and remove and blow out the ports in the carb and put it back together. Without the filter in the tank, every single speck in the tank will make its way to the carb and clog it. It'll make you crazy.
