As I mentioned above, there are nine campgrounds right off the Blue Ridge Parkway. Eight of these are managed by the National Park Service and one is managed by the city of Roanoke, Virginia. I did a camping road trip on the Blue Ridge Parkway in 2024 and loved every minute of it.
